Inauguration of the Election Lab & Seminar on the 13th National Parliamentary Election

The Election Lab was formally inaugurated at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, marking the establishment of a dedicated platform for empirical research on elections and voting behaviour in Bangladesh. The inauguration was followed by a seminar analysing the results, voting trends, and political significance of the 13th National Parliamentary Election.

Election Dialogue: Analysis of Candidates’ Affidavits in Sylhet Region

A student-led analysis of candidates’ affidavits across Sylhet Division’s 19 parliamentary constituencies formed the basis of an Election Dialogue bringing together political parties, civil society, journalists, election observers, and other stakeholders to discuss electoral transparency, inclusion, and expectations for the election.

Workshop on Developing Youth Competencies for Safe and Responsible Digital Engagement

A two-day workshop focused on developing youth competencies for safe, responsible, and informed digital engagement. The project was supported by UNESCO, in collaboration with the Center for Critical and Qualitative Studies (CQS) and FactWatch, and held in association with the Election Lab.

Youth Voices for Citizens’ Manifesto

22 October 2025

A youth-focused workshop that brought together university students and members of social, cultural, and political organizations to discuss priorities for an election manifesto. Participants shared their views and presented group-based recommendations on different thematic areas.
